- Essential: Master's degree in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Genetics and Plant Breeding or Biotechnology, with a 4- or 5-year bachelor's degree. Candidates with a 3-year bachelor's degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent, or a PhD in one of these disciplines. Desirable: Experience in Brassica breeding, hybrid breeding, molecular breeding or biotechnology, and proficiency in computer applications.

- ₹37,000 plus HRA per month for years 1 and 2; ₹42,000 plus HRA per month for year 3

Walk-in interview on 26 Nov 2026 at 10:00 AM at Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. Eligible candidates must attend with completed and signed application form, original documents, and one set of self-attested photocopies. Submit application form and declaration at the interview. Bring certificates from matriculation onwards, date-of-birth certificate, NET certificate, original/provisional degree certificates, proof of experience and publications, and No Objection Certificate from current employer (if applicable). Attach attested recent passport-size photograph.
