Where this applies
Everything here applies whether you reach us through a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, a form on our website, WhatsApp, a phone call, or a purchase on our site or the Classplus app.
If you submit an instant form on one of our ads, the details you give are passed to Agriguru EdTech and are then governed by this policy. Meta’s own handling of them is governed by Meta’s policy.
What we collect
From you
Your name, mobile number, email if you give one, the course or exam you’re asking about, and what you tell us in quizzes, forms and counselling calls — degree, college, graduation year, district, exam. After a purchase we receive your name, phone, email, course and date. We never see your card, UPI or bank details; those stay with the payment gateway.
Automatically on our website
IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, and cookies including Meta’s advertising identifiers.
Please don’t send us ID numbers or health, caste or religious information — we don’t collect them.
What we do with it
We reply to your enquiry and give you the course details, fees and guidance you asked for; deliver the classes, tests and material you buy and support you afterwards; send updates about new batches, mock tests, offers and exam notifications; measure which ads and pages bring students to us; keep the accounts and tax records the law requires; and prevent fraud and misuse of our test material.
Most of this rests on the consent you give when you submit a form or message us, and you can withdraw it at any time.
We never sell or rent your details, and we never pass them to other coaching institutes.
Who else sees it
Only service providers working on our instructions, and only what they need: Meta (ads and WhatsApp), the provider that powers our WhatsApp messaging, Classplus — operated by Bunch Microtechnologies Private Limited — for courses and payments made there, Razorpay (payments), Supabase (our database, hosted in Mumbai), Vercel (website hosting) and Google (analytics and our internal records). Our own counselling and teaching team sees your enquiry and course history. We also disclose data where a law or court requires it.
Ads and measurement
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram and we measure what works. Our website carries the Meta pixel. When someone buys, we send Meta a confirmation event in which the phone number and email are hashed — turned into an irreversible code — before they leave us; we don’t send purchase amounts. We also build audiences from our contact lists, hashed the same way, so our ads reach students like our existing ones. You can control this in your Facebook or Instagram Ads Preferences, and block cookies in your browser.
When you click a WhatsApp button on our ads, ask us to contact you, or message us first, you’re opting in to messages from Agriguru EdTech about your enquiry, plus occasional updates about batches, tests and offers. Reply STOP or email us to stop. We’ll still send what you need for something you’ve paid for — class links, schedules, receipts.
How long we keep it, and how safely
Enquiries that don’t lead to a purchase: up to 24 months from your last contact, then deleted. Student and purchase records: while you have access to what you bought, and after that for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
We protect your data with encrypted connections, OTP-verified logins and access limited to staff who need it. Some of the providers above process data outside India. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you and who we shared it with; have it corrected or deleted; withdraw your consent as easily as you gave it; nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot; and complain to us. These are your rights under sections 11 to 14 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Email agriguru@conglomerindia.in or WhatsApp +91 85907 53947, quoting the mobile number you gave us. We reply within 30 days. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide a course you have signed up for.
If you’re not satisfied, write to our Grievance Officer at agriguru@conglomerindia.in, marking your email “Grievance”. If we still haven’t resolved it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our courses are for students aged 18 and above and our ads are targeted to adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without a parent’s or guardian’s verifiable consent, and we don’t track, profile or target ads at children. Tell us if a child has given us their details and we’ll delete them.
Changes
We’ll update the date at the top when this changes, and tell you by WhatsApp or email if the change is significant.
