- SRF: Master's degree in Vegetable Science/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelor's degree. Those with 3 years bachelor's degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or a Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines. YP-II: Postgraduate degree in Vegetable Science / Horticulture / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Seed Science & Technology/Biotechnology / allied disciplines of Life Sciences.

- SRF: ₹37,000 + HRA/month for 1st and 2nd year; ₹42,000 + HRA/month for 3rd year, as applicable under ICAR norms. YP-II: ₹42,000/- Per month (Consolidated)
