- Qualification
- M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degree (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry or relevant/ allied life science disciplines) with minimum of 55% marks. Desirable Qualification: Candidates having prior experience of isolating environmental DNA, RNA and proteins, handling microbial cultures and their enrichments, microbial consortia development, microbial biodegradation processes, enzyme activity studies and characterization, (meta)genome sequence data analysis, and metabolite analysis using chromatographic techniques. Candidates must have proficiency in scientific writing including journal articles, reviews, popular science articles, book chapters, blogs, and enthusiastic to do field sampling and collect site/environmental data relevant for the project.
- Pay
- Rs. 30,000/- + HRA for Non-NET/GATE/ICAR-NET ect. as per the SERB guidelines.
