Qualification

Master's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Studies, Climate Change, Gender Studies, Disaster Management or another field relevant to community-based climate and development work. At least 5 years of relevant experience in programme implementation, field coordination, community development, climate resilience, natural-resource management, gender-responsive programming, public health or a closely related area. Demonstrated experience working with rural or tribal communities and coordinating community meetings, trainings, participatory processes or field-based programmes. Strong spoken and written Odia and English. Knowledge of Santali and experience working with Santhal communities will be a strong advantage. Good working knowledge of spreadsheets, documents, presentations, email and digital data or monitoring tools. Willingness to travel frequently within Bangriposi & Jashipur Block of Mayurbhanj.

Pay

INR 35,000 per month (consolidated)
