- Qualification
- Post 1: Essential – Master's degree in Molecular Biology/Plant Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Agri. Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/Life Sciences from recognized university with 4/5 years of bachelor degree. Candidates with 3 year UG degree and 2 years master degree should have NET qualification and 2 years research experience or Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering technology from recognized university. Desirable – Experience in CRISPR-Cas9 based genome editing tool/bioinformatics/molecular biology/gene-cloning/transgenic development/plant tissue culture. Post 2: Essential – M.Sc in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Seed Science & Technology/Agricultural Botany/Economic Botany having 4 years of B.Sc Degree in Agriculture. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic science with 3 years bachelor's degree and 2 years master's degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience. Desirable – Ph.D. Genetics & Plant Breeding having NET qualification and 02 years research experience in sugarcane breeding.

Walk-in-Interview on 09.10.2026 at 09:30 AM at the Director's mini conference hall in ICAR-ISRI, Lucknow. Candidates should bring bio-data (in prescribed proforma), entire original certificates from SSLC onwards, one set of photocopies of certificates (self-attested), experience certificate and latest passport size photograph. Original degree certificate (at least provisional) must be presented.
