- Research Associate: PhD in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Botany/allied disciplines of Life Sciences. Senior Research Fellow: Master's degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Seed Science & Technology/Biotechnology/allied disciplines of Life Sciences with 4/5 years Bachelor's degree. Candidates with postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences (3 years Bachelor's + 2 years Master's) must have NET qualification and 2 years research experience as per ICAR guidelines.

- Research Associate: Rs 67,000/- + HRA per month. Senior Research Fellow: Rs 37,000/- + HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year; Rs 42,000/- + HRA per month for 3rd year as applicable under ICAR norms.
