- Essential: Master's degree in Plant Pathology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology or Post graduate degree in basic sciences (botany and allied sciences) from a recognized university/institute or equivalent AND Two years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organisations and scientific activities and services. Desirable: Research experience in phytoplasma diseases and molecular techniques

- Rs. 35,000 per month + 30% HRA for candidates selected through National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC-NET or GATE) or National level Examinations conducted by central government departments; Rs. 28,000 + 30% HRA for others
