- PPA: Master's degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences with specialization in Chemistry or Agricultural Chemicals from a recognized university/equivalent with 8 years' experience in R&D in academic institutions or S&T organizations (4 years in pesticide residues), OR Doctoral degree in Chemistry/Science/Agricultural Chemicals with 4 years' experience in pesticide residues; YP-II: Master's degree in Chemistry/Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university with minimum 2 years' research experience; YP-I: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university/institute with minimum 2 years' research experience

- PPA: Rs.67,000/- per month (fixed) as per ANRF guidelines; YP-II: Rs.42,000/- per month (fixed) as per ICAR guidelines; YP-I: Rs.30,000/- per month (fixed) as per ICAR guidelines
