Purpose of the course
Why Magnum Soil Science exists
If you're a Malayali who earned your B.Sc. Agriculture outside Kerala, you learnt soil science in English, built around another state's soils and conditions - yet Kerala expects you to know soil science for its own soils, in Malayalam terminology you never used in college. That gap costs you twice: in the Kerala PSC exam hall, and on the job at a Krishi Bhavan, plantation, agritech firm, or input company. Magnum Soil Science closes it - a focused soil science course that re-anchors your degree to Kerala's soils and language, taught in Malayalam by senior retired professors from KAU.
-
Built for out-of-state graduates
Designed for Malayali B.Sc. Agriculture graduates who studied outside Kerala - it fills the Kerala-context and Malayalam-terminology gap in your soil science, whether you're sitting PSC or starting a job here.
-
Taught fully in Malayalam
Every concept is explained in Malayalam - the language of farmers, officers, and field work across Kerala - so the soil and farming terms you skipped in an out-of-state college finally click.
-
Senior Retired Professors from KAU
Every lesson is taught by senior retired professors from Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), who teach soil science through Kerala's own soils and field conditions - not the way a textbook from elsewhere describes them.
-
Learn at your own pace
Recorded, on-demand lessons you can revisit any number of times - revise a tough topic the night before the exam.
About the course
More about Magnum Soil Science
Magnum Soil Science is the soil science course of Agriguru's Magnum programme, for Malayali B.Sc. Agriculture graduates who completed their degree outside Kerala. You have the principles of soil science down - but in English, and without the Kerala-specific framing that both the PSC and a Kerala agriculture job expect. This course bridges that distance.
It walks you through soil science the way Kerala applies it, in the depth Kerala demands - taught in Malayalam by senior retired professors from KAU. The goal is simple - turn an out-of-state graduate's English-medium soil science into Kerala-ready knowledge, whether your next step is a PSC rank or a job at a Krishi Bhavan, plantation, agritech firm, or input company.
Want every subject, not just soil science? The Magnum Bridge Course covers seven - agronomy, soil science, horticulture, olericulture, entomology, pathology and agricultural extension - for ₹7,999. See the Bridge Course →
